Global IT Business Major

The mission of Global IT Business is: (1) training students to realize the importance of environment and eco systems in a globalized world, (2) to consider the weak and cooperate with colleague as a member of the community, and (3) to have the skills in finding and solving a problem actively with a wise decision making skills. In order to train students with an advanced information technology in the informatization and globalization, Global IT Business gives the students an education with theory and practical exercises which combine information technology with management system. Also, Global IT Business runs competitive programs such as (1) MIS-DAY to develop the students’ cultural level, (2) sending students abroad every year to get real experience from the global environment, and (3) running the graduation certification system within department to evaluate students language and information technology skills.

Smart Management Track

Smart Management Track is designed to educate our students in such ways that they can solve ever changing global business problems, leveraging information systems and technologies. Thus our students will take BOTH core management courses AND fundamental information technology courses, so that our students can expand their future career options in business and technology sectors in global enterprises. Therefore we provide many global challenge programs so that our students go abroad for a semester for internship with companies in foreign countries or they can attend one-month intensive courses for obtaining credits during summer or winter vacation. After graduation they will be equipped with capability to analyze business problems, design the solution, and implement it.
